Happy Easter

We hosted Easter this year.  It was a lot of fun. We missed having my niece, sister-in-law and brother here, but cousins, aunt, mom and dad were here.  Not having the other side of the family here was a bummer too but we had a least one side of the family to celebrate with. 

The kids found their eggs.  Emerson was immersed in Elmo (she is just as obsessed as Wyatt was at this age).  Wyatt is going to CrAsH from his Sugar high tonight-that he's had all day.

Most of all it was good to be surrounded by our loved ones and reminded that  Christ is Alive and He remains to be at the center of our family's life.  We have tried very hard to make sure that this Easter has been more about HIM and not about the Easter bunnies and candy.  So much that Wyatt has asked more questions about Jesus this year and I had to remind him this morning that the Easter bunny came. (Im all out of ideas on how to explain the resurrection of Christ.....I hope his little heart has grasped a little of it's meaning).
