BLOG UPDATE!

We are alive and well --I think?
My blogging days are not as good as they used to be! Oh well!
Wyatt is now 5!! Oh my- Batman birthday and all! We celebrated on the 15th of Nov and decorated for Christmas that weekend too- I Know it was ALOT!!!
Thanksgiving was in Bismark with my brothers family! They are expecting baby #2! We are so excited (takes the pressure off of me!!!~)
NOW we are awaiting the holidays!

MY TWIN CITIES MARATHON

TWIN CITIES MARATHON 101
THERE IS A LITTLE WONDERWOMAN IN ALL OF US!

My girlfriend and I stopped training about 2 and half months ago for a lot of different family reasons between the two of us.
Anyway we decided at the last minute (like a week before Sunday (October 5th) to run in the Marathon like originally planned and see how far we could make it......little did we know how much WONDERWOMAN we had in us!
We did 14 miles~Im so proud of us!
It just proves that we both needed the break from our kids (no Im kidding!) But seriously- it was emotional- we laughed alot in the down pouring rain (wondering what in the *^*$ were we thinking?) I am confident that when we train next year (yep I said next year) that we will finish our training and I know we will complete the marathon!
I will post pictures in the next couple of days.

Thanks for all the phone calls, emails, prayers and support- Im pretty sure that is the ONLY way I rolled out of bed and ran 14 miles yesturday!

We are enjoying the newness of Fall. Wyatt has started Preschool and is loving his return to Woodbury Lutheren with a new teacher and all new classmates. He enjoys that he is there all day and brings his lunch! I cannot believe how much he has grown. This year I actually cried the first day (what is kindergarden going to be like?)
Emerson is enjoying dance- yep! Dance! They have a little Tots dance class and our little princess is in it! She loves it but it's a good thing that it is only 30 minutes long because she is really tired by the end of it!

We are also enjoying the beginnings of a new bible study for Ross and I at our church which allows us to go as a family on Wednesday nights and eat dinner together and the kids being watched while we do that!
I am coordinating MOPS this year and we have been surprised that God has brought 23 women and we are expecting 5 more at our next meeting! It's exciting!

Hope your family is enjoying the newness of Fall and all the beginnings! Hopefully you have gotten some family time together too! We stopped at the apple orchard already- ! Something about picking your own apples is more fun than at the grocery store!

We celebrated just like we did for Wyatt's birthday- at Meme and Papa's house!
We had a Puppy Party! She LOVED it! Puppy everything! Everyone knew too because Puppy clothes, Puppy Purses and Puppy toys...Emerson was in heaven!

I can't believe Emerson is 2 already! That went so fast! It feels like yesturday I was just "blogging" and saying that we all needed prayers for her because of her Reflux! Well that is over and now I just want prayers for patience! No Im kidding!
She is like any typical 2 year old but very "Fewson" like! She's got attitude! But I will take that attitude any day!

Thank you God for giving me Emerson! I love that you gave me the gift of a princess to entrust and take care of! What a honor to watch her grow into a beatiful young girl! I am blessed beyond measure! I cannot wait to see what you have in store for her life and I just pray that you help Guide me along the way so that she will honor and love you with everything she does.

MOMMY MADNESS

I've been inspired by my girlfriend to document the truth! Write the "truth and the truth shall set you free"...something like that anyway! Well I hit my breaking point in parenthood these last few days. Summer has been fun and carefree. Except for the daily life of a 4 year old telling me about his "feelings" and a little girl who is proving to be more stubborn by the minute -life's been pretty smooth this summer!
Well this week I guess I reached my boiling point!
Yesterday I gave my children to a girlfriend ( I owe her at least 15 drinks at Starbucks and endless Girl's Night Out's) and Today my children were given to a complete Stranger (okay not entirely but almost-) just so I could get two days to myself to get my Sh**^ together!!!
Let me explain.....Wyatt is going through the "I don't speak unless it's at a whinning pitch" tone-ALL THE TIME!!! Also, we are camping everynight!!! So every night Wyatt has been putting his sleeping bag on his bedroom floor and "camping"...How cute I know - until he gets up at 3am to tell me that he is done and wants to camp out in our room. Okay!? Now we are all up and he then goes on to tell us "mommy if you need anything...let me know!" "Daddy, if you need to go Potty, go right ahead".....Great advice Wyatt!!! UGH!
Also, Wyatt is into throwing down BIG WHINNING TANTRUMS along with his sister in the store when he doesn't get his way! So there will be the fit plus a few growls like a bear or what I call "gnashing of teeth"....God help me!

Okay then there is my precious little cutie pie Emerson!!!!! She is a spit fire! God I love this little Girl . She is so much like me it's scary! She is learning everything from her brother - the good stuff and the bad!!! yeahh! The tantrums, the hitting, the sassy talk, the back talk, the spitting (oh yes!)! Then there is this little part of me that watches BIG Brother beat up and pick on her and it brings back so many memories I just can't wait until she is old enough to fight back!
She is also capable of throwing down a good fight in the middle of the store. But she is really good at RUNNING! RUNNING FAST AND NOT STOPPING! FUN!

So needless to say I've been fried! I have been gearing up for watching kiddos this fall for some friends of mine & I own my own buisness: www. Stelladot.com! I am also the Coordinator MOPS(MOPS.ORG) starting at our church in the evenings which means I am leading 10 women to start that up. I also am training for the Twin Cities Marathon right now. On top of all of this I am trying so hard to have a relationship with my husband.....is that possible with two young children?????

Needless to say the two days allowed me to get all caught up and shovel my way through my "to do" list. I sent my husband out tonight for a much needed night out and I finally get to BLOG....Too Bad I haven't had time to download any recent pictures( So Typical ) !!!!

I believe that this summer will go down in history!

We've been busy but we've been busy HAVING FUN!
Last weekend we spent the week up north! You know what? It really doesn't get any better than that for me! I love being up north! I love the smell of the lake blowing off of the lake, the sound of the loons and I love that my kids are hyper when I tell them we are driving 3 1/2 hours north! We love to just hang out! My kids think my parents house is like going to the circus! Four wheel rides from Papa, Long walks around the woods, (yes lots of mosquito bites-but who cares), ice cream-every night, endless boat rides, "papa let's go fishing!"-off to the deck Wyatt and dad Go! --you get the picture! It really is like Heaven for us! And I know my parents love it! Which makes me equally happy- I think when you have reached a point in your life when you know exactly how to make your parents happy your GOLDEN (bring the grandkids)!

Anyway we also celebrated a family reunion and some "camping"(in a cabin) at Itasca State Park! We had a blast with cousins! I cannot wait to do that again. With the exception of Emerson not sleeping one night and all of us getting a cold at some point- we all had a good time.

Emerson had her first day of "school". Well, sort of! She and I are doing ECFE this summer. I had good old fashion guilt this year! I haven't had her in anything like I have had Wyatt! She has What I call "2nd child syndrom"....She gets the shaft. So I enrolled us in a little class. So we sit in a circle, sing songs, play with the other little ones and last week she painted and played with play dough- she had a blast. But by the end she was asking for "Wy Wy".

I think last night was our BEST TIME YET!! We went to another Starkey Gala. This is for Ross's work (hard work I know). His company provided tickets for us to attend a fund raiser - well for people with LOTS OF money to raise money for children around the world who need hearing aides. Every year they bring in the famous people....last year it was Kenny Logins, Goldie Hawn and others.

Well this year I could hardly wait because they brought in GARTH BROOKS! Also Pat Benetar
If anyone knows me I am a country Girl at heart ( I am from Detroit Lakes and lived in South Dakota for God's sakes). SO I WAS SO EXCITED! I didn't know that I would be 10 feet from him while he performed!!!!!!!!
YEP I said 10 feet!!!!!!!!!!!! So Ross and I were the only ones at the front sitting on the floor and he sang to the crowd while we sat and listened to him sing- AMAZING AND ROMANTIC!!! Not to mention that my hubby bought me a killer dress ( I really don't mean to brag) IT WAS SO COOL!!!

I Don't think our summer can beat what we've already experienced! But I do know that we've already had a really fun time!
