Not much has happened at the Tallents household in the past week. We are basically passing germs around and maybe even breeding them here....so don't come over! We have been sick and isolated for about a week! Let's just say that we are tired of being sick and tired!
Emerson rolled over unassisted on Monday...we all cheered and clapped. Wyatt got out his little camera (a disposable) and wanted to take a picture. Emerson is into ANYTHING that Wyatt is doing. She watches him and giggles already.
Today we went and got Wyatt's eyes checked.....huge praise..he doesn't need a stronger prescription and his eyes are doing great. We'll be back in another 6 months! He is such a joy to have around..He loves his sister and loves to play with his cars.
We went to ECFE (Early Childhood Family Education) also known as "school" and we were talking about creative parenting. The parent educator asked if I had anything I wanted to add about creative parenting........HMMM?
Does allowing Wyatt to put bandaides on Emerson's face suggest creative parenting? You can call this what you want but it was pure entertainment for Ross and I! (please note that this bandaide did leave room for Emerson to breath--please no comments on neglect)

Uh, is there any way someone can be a parent and not be creative?? How else do you feed, clothe, entertain and otherwise distract kids for 24 hours a day - and find ways to keep yourself SANE without being creative???
Germs have attacked the Bjorndahl Home as well! We've been in seclusion and are beginning to go a bit stir-crazy. Hmm, "crazy", maybe that will bring about some creative parenting in our home!
Hope to get together in June when our kids are well again!
Fun Photo!!! Such good news re: Wyatt and no RX change. It's remarkable how much kids LOVE bandaids, I often wish I had stock in them! take care, keep warm, it's VERY cold & icy here in CT. Looking forward to "whenever" we can get together for a visit. Love Sue Ellen
