Hello Friends and Family (and those who read this blog that I don't know)
We would like to extend a little call for prayer for our little girl Emerson.
Emerson has major reflux and is pretty uncomfortable most of the time. We are blessed that with this discomfort she isn't crying all the time but she is uncomfortable and not sleeping much (which only means that we aren't sleeping much either)
Please pray that God would heal her little body and that we can figure out medicine that works for her. Right now she is on zantac 3 times a day and it doesn't seem to be working. We are back at the doctor again tomorrow. We have also been to training at Children's Hospital and learned a little CPR (is this supposed to comfort me?)Also pray for us as parents that we will be able to comfort her the best that we can. Wyatt has been amazing and such a trooper as the attention has been given to her more than him!

Hi Jill & Ross--so sorry to hear about Emerson's problem w/ GERD. Hopefully by now you are on the way to finding out what is causing it, and the best way to treat it. Luckily you are near to a children's hosp where she can recieve the best diagnostic tests/treatments, and hopefully she will improve as her GI system matures, and she will outgrow it. In the meantime we will keep her and all of you in our prayers, call anytime if you want to talk. Give each of the kids a big hug and kiss for me, wish I could do it in person! love Sue Ellen
Tallents! It was good to talk to you all tonight! I pray that you are able to get some good sleep and your little angel will start feeling better soon. There are some amazing medications for GERD, hopefully the will find something that works for her. Hope this message finds you happy and well rested!
Poor baby girl. My prayers are with you. I know from personal experience how uncomfortable GERD can be. I can't imagine how tough it must be for you all to see your perfect new baby in pain. We're praying for some relief (and some sleep) for you all.
